National Western Complex
Currently taking place on National Western Complex grounds is a $1 billion dollar renovation. P&H has teamed up with Ames Construction and Hensel Phelps in assisting the completion of these projects in the next couple of years! Next to the Stockyard Saloon, our concrete crew has been working to provide sidewalks, curb and gutter and valley pan. Our asphalt crew has been working to build the front half of the parking lot and is also setting the preparations all over the property for future developments.
Fun Fact: The stockyard saloon has been a crucial part of National Western Stock Show’s culture and has been around since 1898! Over the last 122 years, this building has been the scene of innumerable events throughout time, with hopes it will continue to stay part of the western culture throughout the future as well.
Concourse C East Expansion at DEN
Over the course of 18 months and 10,000 tons of asphalt later, P&H completed a phase out in Denver International Airport (DEN) in 2021.
We partnered up with IHC Scott to conduct the expansion of Concourse C East. It will be part of 39 new gates at Concourse A, B and C, and will increase the airports capacity by 30%.
We’ve enjoyed working alongside IHC Scott to perform asphalt paving services behind the gates of DEN!!
Lemay Ave Realignment Overpass
Beginning in 2021, our concrete crew spent over six months in the city of Fort Collins, CO working on 30,000 linear feet of Curb and Gutter, and 19,000 square yards of sidewalks and ramps.
The City of Fort Collins is currently conducting the realignment of Lemay Ave over Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF). Their goal is to create a safer pedestrian and bicycle crossing, upgrade stormwater and water lines system underneath Lemay Avenue, and conduct the resurfacing of Lemay from Riverside Avenue to Horsetooth Road, per the City of Fort Collins.
After working alongside Ames Construction, our concrete crew has completed our portion of the project as of May 2022!
